Interchangeable Lower Platens

 How Interchangeable Platens Will Increase Product Quality & Improve Efficiency

When applying HTV or Heat Transfers, there are 3 main elements to consider:

Time, Temperate and Pressure.

In order to achieve accurate pressure, you must have a completely flat print area to fuse onto. This however can be challenging on certain garments and specific print areas. This is where you require interchangeable lower platens.

Hotronix manufacture a wide range of different sized and shaped lower platens for your heat press, so regardless of the garment or print area you're applying to, you can ensure accurate pressure for a high quality and long lasting application.

How to ensure accurate pressure

Simply remove the current platen and replace with the platen. This will allow you to isolate the print area of the garment and any seams, zips, pockets, etc. to lay off the platen, leaving you with a completely clean and flat surface to apply your transfer to.
