Ideal for decorating everyday apparel, lightweight sportswear and uniforms.

If you are decorating everyday apparel or lightweight sportswear (such as cotton or poly/cotton blends) and you want to ensure a premium product for your customers, you need to be using Stahls' Sportsfilm (UltraWeed) Heat Transfer Vinyl. SportsFilm HTV is a thin yet durable material that cuts and weeds very easily, fuses in just 5 seconds and leaves a soft matt finish to your designs.

Available in 54 colours including metallics and fluorescents. Order by the metre, full roll is 25m x 500mm.

Cutting Tips:

Always carry out a Test-Cut, this will identify if you have a sharp blade and if the pressure and force is correct.
Once you have the correct setting, make a visual note and attach it to your cutter for each type of material.
Different HTV materials and plotter cutter brands require different blades, always have a selection to hand.

Roland GS-24: Blade 45, Force 60-90g, Offset 25, Speed 20cm/s

Application Instructions:

Time: 5 Seconds
Temp: 160°c
Pressure: Medium (4-6 on a Hotronix Press)
Peel: Hot

Application Instructions for layered designs:

Time: 2-3 Seconds
Temp: 160°c
Pressure: Medium (4-6 on a Hotronix Press)
Interim peel: Carefully peel warm to cool, repeat for each colour.
Final fuse: 5 Seconds
Peel: Hot
(For a thinner motif we would suggest kiss-cutting the colours in your design).
